An exceptional early antique Country House armchair stamped with makers mark. Fabulous quality with original damask upholstery (so rare to find in this condition with vibrant colours and good condition for age). Beautiful turned ebonised feet with original ceramic castors set into brass rings. Fabulous form/design with deep mellow patina, a beautiful piece of early English furniture. Circa 1850. Original embroidered upholstery covering confirming a chair of superior quality. Inject style into any setting with this rare survivor. Waxed and ready to be used for another 100 years plus.

14” seat at front, 32” at the back, 26.5” wide at the front, 34” overall front to back. 

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Historic repair to underside of X frame showing a well loved and respected chair. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
