An exceptional early Georgian marquetry specimen tripod lamp/sofa table. Exquisite detailing with, ebony, laburnum, coromandel, maple, rosewood & boxwood geometric inlay. Sat above an elegant rosewood tripod base with deep mellow patina and tilt top mechanism to underside. Dating from 1760 this beautiful piece of furniture will inject style into any setting. Dating from the George II period this is a rare example and superior quality over other wine tables. These tables are to be used as intended and when not in use tilted up to show off the quality of craftsmanship and quality of design/look. Used as side tables, lamp tables, tea tables, sofa table breakfast tables they are the perfect addition to any room where you want to make a statement with high quality furniture.
